Detailed Call Description
BEUC’s functioning will be co-financed. BEUC is the umbrella group for 45 independent consumer organisations from 31 countries.
BEUC´s main role is to represent them to the EU institutions and defend the interests of European consumers.
BEUC pays particular attention to the protection of vulnerable groups of consumers and integrates the needs of the next generations, by mainstreaming sustainable production and consumption.
Through its activities BEUC contributes to the EU Consumer policy objectives such as:
- promoting consumer safety;
- enhancing knowledge of consumer rights;
- empowering consumers in situations of vulnerability;
- strengthening the development and enforcement of consumer rights;
- integrating consumer interests into the key policy sectors, such as green and digital transition and an economy that works for the people.
Eligibility For Participation Notes
BEUC (Bureau Européen des Unions de Consommateurs), in accordance with Article 10 (1) (e) of the SMP Regulation and action 2.2 of Annex 3to the Commission implementing Decision C(2023) 1119.
