Detailed Call Description
The following projects will be supported:
studies and / or works for the improvement of transport infrastructure resilience, in particular to climate change and natural disasters through infrastructure upgrades or smart monitoring systems are eligible if the applicant can demonstrate high risks associated with no project and that the project is in accordance with the National Adaptation Plan or Strategy of the Member State concerned. Improvement of transport infrastructure resilience may also be eligible as part of projects supported under sections 6.1 and 6.2 of the CEF2- Transport multiannual work program 2021-2023.
Projects aimed at improving transport infrastructure resilience against cyber security threats may only be eligible as part of projects supported under above mentioned sections 6.1 and 6.2, if relevant.
Financing percentage by EU or other bodies / Level of Subsidy or Loan
- maximum 50% for the costs of studies
- maximum 30% for the costs of works for proposals related to ‘improving transport infrastructure resilience’,
- maximum 50% for the cost of works for proposals related to ‘safe and secure parking infrastructure’ and ‘adapting the transport infrastructure for Union external border checks purposes’,
- maximum 70% for the costs of works in outermost regions.
Eligibility For Participation Notes
In order to be eligible, the applicants (beneficiaries and affiliated entities) must:
- be legal entities (public or private bodies)
- be established in one of the eligible countries, i.e.:
- EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories (OCTs)
- third countries associated to the CEF
