Call for proposals limited/restricted to National Roma Contact Points

Detailed Call Description

National Roma Platforms aim to:

  • support National Roma Contact Points in their task of coordinating and monitoring the implementation of the national Roma strategic framework on equality, inclusion and participation;
  • support the NRCPs in their task to mobilise and ensure the continued engagement in outcome-oriented efforts and processes of all relevant stakeholders (i.e. high level public authorities, Roma and non-Roma civil society organisations, activists and professionals from various areas of relevance, elected and appointed Roma officials, entrepreneurs, trade unions, employers’ and children’s rights organisations, academia, etc.), in particular by providing a forum and encouraging self-mobilisation and cooperation of Roma and pro-Roma civil society organisations;
  • strengthen multi-stakeholder accountability, ownership and transparency of the process of Roma equality, inclusion and participation;
  • boost the commitment of the NRCPs and relevant stakeholders to an effective implementation of measures promoting Roma equality, inclusion and participation at national and local level, improving equal access of Roma to mainstream services and opportunities and strengthening mutual trust and understanding between Roma and non-Roma;
  • complement and increase synergies with other EU and/or national initiatives, such as the European Platform for Roma inclusion and the Roma Civil Monitoring initiative; etc. (further details in the work programme)

Eligibility For Participation Notes

In order to be eligible, the applicants (beneficiaries and affiliated entities) must:

  • be legal entities (public or private bodies)
  • be established in one of the eligible countries, i.e.:
    • EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories (OCTs))
    • other eligibility conditions:
      • applicants must be National Roma Contact Points, with only one application per Member State being accepted;
      • the application must involve only the National Roma Contact Point (no partners);
