Detailed Call Description
The following Actions will be supported:
- studies for the improvement of transport infrastructure resilience, in particular to climate change and natural disasters through infrastructure upgrades or smart monitoring systems are eligible if the applicant can demonstrate high risks associated with no action and that the Action is in accordance with the National Adaptation Plan of the Member State concerned. Improvement of transport infrastructure resilience may also be eligible as part of Actions supported under sections 6.1 and 6.2. of the CEF2- Transport multiannual work program 2021-2023.
Actions aimed at improving transport infrastructure resilience against cyber security threats may only be eligible as part of Actions supported under above mentioned sections 6.1 and 6.2, if relevant. The foreseen duration of the action should be 2-3 years maximum.
Financing percentage by EU or other bodies / Level of Subsidy or Loan
The costs will be reimbursed at the funding rates fixed in the Grant Agreement (maximum 50% for the costs of studies, maximum 70% for the costs of works in outermost regions, maximum 30% for the other costs categories (‘project funding rate’) for proposals related to ‘improving transport infrastructure resilience’ and maximum 50% for the other cost categories (‘project funding rate’) for proposals related to ‘safe and secure parking infrastructure’ and ‘adapting the transport infrastructure for Union external border checks purposes’.
Eligibility For Participation Notes
In order to be eligible, the applicants (beneficiaries and affiliated entities) must:
- be legal entities (public or private bodies)
- be established in one of the eligible countries, i.e.:
- EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories (OCTs)
- third countries associated to the CEF (list [none]).
