The Creative Europe Programme supports the culture and audiovisual sectors.
Call
Detailed Call Description
European festivals shall aim at increasing audiences’ interest in non-national European audiovisual content and promoting the circulation and visibility of nonnational European audiovisual content.
European festivals programming a significant proportion of non-national European works and aiming at activities targeted to expand and renew audiences. Special attention will be given to applications presenting adequate strategies to ensure more sustainable and more environmentally-respectful industry and to ensure gender balance, inclusion, diversity and representativeness.
Financing percentage by EU or other bodies / Level of Subsidy or Loan
The grant will be a lump sum grant. This means that it will reimburse a fixed amount, based on a lump sum or financing not linked to costs. The amount is prefixed by the granting authority (page 16 of call document).
Eligibility For Participation Notes
In order to be eligible, the applicants (beneficiaries and affiliated entities) must be legal entities, public or private bodies, established in one of the eligible countries: Creative Europe Participating Countries, EU Member States or listed EEA countries and countries associated to the Creative Europe Programme.
NOTES: Only applications from eligible entities organising audiovisual festivals in countries participating in the MEDIA strand will be accepted.
Only applications by single applicants are allowed.
