Detailed Call Description
This action will cover the following activities:
- developing and implementing training modules of continuous professional development for medical professions including nurses and other health workforce by addressing their needs;
- the training courses will include digital skills and other relevant skills needed for surge capacity in crises and for transformation of health systems into new care models providing more integrated health care;
- developing and implementing training modules for non-clinical staff working in health systems to contribute to effective, accessible and resilient health systems with a focus on digital skills for procurement, planning and management;
- micro credentials in the training courses (in line with the forthcoming Commission’s initiative on micro credentials) could be considered.
This action will impact on the skills underpinning quicker recovery and transition to more resilient health systems. It will also have an impact on:
- organisational change, improvement of workload and team work, especially in surge capacity;
- the implementation of the Pact for Skills initiative through provision of training opportunities to upskill and reskill especially in digital skills in healthcare.

Eligibility For Participation Notes
In order to be eligible for funding, the applicants (beneficiaries and affiliated entities) must be legal entities (public or private bodies) established in EU Member States or EEA countries and countries associated to the EU4Health Programme (third countries, candidate countries and potential candidate countries, neighbourhood countries) or countries which are in ongoing negotiations for an association agreement.
